Charleston, the LC (low country) city is worth the visit. Clean, walkable, and warm, situated steps from the water on three sides.
The College of Charleston was named the winner of Travel + Leisure’s “Most Beautiful College Campus” contest i.e. the prettiest college campus in America. This was the most memorable place for me.
With colorful homes and window boxes, small alleyways and cobbled stone, Charleston will captivate you with her charm.
Take a carriage ride through the city and learn it's rich history. Dog's are welcome, even on this ride!
Walk along the waterway and admire the landmark homes. Fort Sumter stands out over the water.
Stop at Griffon's English Pub for their notable Fish n' Chips. Admire the "decor" of one dollar bills that plaster the walls from everyday customers.
Take a picture at the pineapple water fountain, and let the kids splash around. Fancy a stroll through the city market.
There is something to satisfy everyone.
You may not be making your fortune by collecting the dollar bills! It's the experience you will be cashing in on.
