Find Your Happy Place

Updated: May 19, 2020

Take the time to ponder and answer the following questions to help you identify YOUR very own "happy and goto space".

1. What does it look like?

For some it is doing "nothing". Maybe vegging on the couch, sipping a cup of tea, or "mindlessly" allowing time to pass by.

A bubble bath and scented candles.

For others, a change of scenery, a different pace, a vacation.

2. Where does it happen?

On a beach or park, or while driving in a car?

It is a good idea to have a "place" that you feel you can experience rest and recovery.

3. How often?

One day a week without commitments, or technology.

An hour a day where you "shut off and shut down".

4. Alone or with others?

Do you get recharged from being alone in an atmosphere that is quiet and peaceful? Or would you rather be surrounded by a crowd of fans at a music concert?

5. Is it something you are willing to pay for? A day of pampering at the spa. An exotic trip. Visiting the local quaint coffee shop.

Find, treasure, and enjoy wherever it may take you.
